The Wildhorse Campground does not have individual camp sites. Instead, vehicles are parked next to each other along the roads and your camping spot/area is behind the cars creating a great communal area in the middle. There is nice fluffy green grass that was once described as a “long-haired golf course”. A few trees are scattered around providing afternoon shade.
The Corral Cafe is home to the WILD BURGER! The breakfast burritos and free coffee are a godsend for hangover mornings. They serve burgers, wraps, sandwiches, salads, etc. all day and they’re open after the show for midnight hunger. It’s is really delicious and awesome food. Most people usually plan to eat most of their meals at the cafe so they don’t have to buy groceries, pack, and cook their meals.
There are free continual shuttles provided to and from the amphitheatre. The shuttles begin approximately 2 hours before the show starts and run every 1/2 hour until 1 hour after the show starts. Once the show is over the shuttles continue to run until no one is left at the pick up point.
There are 8 private showers that are open to the sky. The hot water usually lasts all day long. The only thing is the wait can be kind of long. Don’t forget to bring your flip-flops for showering. And, girls… yes, there are electrical outlets. If the wait is too long and you can handle really cold water, there are several outdoor showers out in the open along the fence that some people brave.
